Here Comes the Bride...the Recap!

This Sunday we participated in Here Comes the Bride, the first ever Arkansas Bride & Fayetteville Town Center bridal show. This show has the potential of being the very best in NWA, with the set-up looking like a wedding reception itself! Vendors were separated into 3 rooms, each with a different theme or style: Casual Elegance, Whimsical, and Traditional. J.Bailey Occasions was at the front of the Casual Elegance room, greeting brides as they walked through the door. Here are some shots to enjoy by the uber-fab Dale Benfield.

Here I am getting ready for the show to begin...

And, me and Ki. She is the best assistant ever!

In the Casual Elegance room, we designed 2 tables that we entirely different. The first table was a more modern take on casual elegance. I designed the table with a monochromatic theme for the chairs, linens, and china, and wanted the BIG PUNCH of color to be in these gorgeous fuschia garden roses {yes, those are roses!} by Flora. The tall white candlesticks really make a modern statement with their curvy design and glossy finish, standing out from the slate silver pintuck linens by Eventures. Here are some details:

Our second table, which was the surprising hit of the show for us, was designed around a non-floral centerpiece geared more toward the Fall bride. We chose to use tall centerpieces of quince branches with delicate white blooms in a large cylinder vase. We accented this centerpiece with 2 iron lanterns filled with candles. The table was covered in a moss green shimmer crush tablecloth by Festivities, and silver Chivari chairs. We used chocolate brown napkins folded over the table for a bit of interest on the table. We also mixed & matched the china, using silver chargers and white china with silver rims and also some plain white china.

The ceiling treatment in the Casual Elegance room was gorgeous, and created by Eventures. Here is a view of it from our table:

Shout out to Dale and his incredible couture albums:

Now, on to the Whimsical room where my friends from Festivities stole the show with their bold black, white, and yellow set-up. I couldn't get enough of this! Brides...please go for this look with your summer weddings!!!

Amy of Sincerely Yours Paper, Inc., my favorite invitation designer, was set up just around the corner...{p.s. check out her new blog!}

And, a quick glance into the Traditional themed room...

We had a great time with all of our vendor friends, and meeting all of you new brides! We love hearing about your weddings and how uniquely different they each are. Please email us or call to set up your complimentary consultation to talk about how we can work together to bring your Big Day to life!
